Darren Morris was the 1st try scorer after a rolling maul (didn't we used to do this all the time) following a well taken line out, Loki slotted home the conversion

Pat's try was next, he charged down a kick near the halfway line sprinted past the French players kicked on and leapt on the ball to get his score. The rain was still coming down heavy and it was near the end of the 1st half when Loki's magic boot was in action again, he managed a beautifully weighted kick into the try area for Miles to sprint from nowhere to add another try to his tally for the season.

Next came no surprise as The Warriors defence watched as Avromovich danced and jinked through the defence to touch down under the posts. Why did this bloke never get a chance to show us what he could do. This for me was a disappointing end to a very good half of rugby for The Warriors.

The rain still continued to poor down during halftime. There was only 7 points scored in the 2nd half and I’m pleased to say it was a try for Matt Mullen. A great comeback after his bad day at the office against Quinn's, Loki again slotted the conversion over the bar.

Tom Wood stood up and a punch up which he and his fighting partner were sin binned for. There was another great 30 man brawl right at the end and fair play to the ref no cards were brandished. A good win for The Warriors away from home in awful conditions.

NOW IT’S TIME TO GET SOME PREMIERSHIP POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a few things I came away from this weekend....

1. I now know why the giraffes are called so.

2. The French mainly drink beer from Nancy boy small glasses.

3. I can't speak French.

4. I don't like driving on the right hand side of the road

5. You can't beat going to the loo on your own throne and not a hole in the ground.

6. I have made a few new friends if they like it or not (you know who you are).

7. Don't book the early morning flight back.
