| What influenced you to start playing rugby (School, Club, Parents etc ) and what persuaded you to stick with it? | Parents sort of pushed me into it but I didn't take much persuading | Father took me to Edinbrugh Wanderers where I played mini rugby and never looked back! | Coming from South Africa where rugby is played in every school and living in Natal which is very rugby orientated. I enjoyed every aspect of the game. | Started playing at school and just loved it. |
| What is the most unusual pre game superstition you have or have witnessed? | I don't have any but George Crook always wears the same boxers, clean of course! | Not a superstition but when I played in France the tight 5 had to stay together the whole of the day on match day from when you got to the ground until the end of the game! | Which law/rule change would improve the game | Contact area - the referees need to be more consistant with it | Drop out from under the posts like in Rugby League instead of a drop out from the 22 | Referees just need to be more consistant | Return to being able to pass the ball back into the 22 and kick it out.
