The young winger broke into the Ponty 1st team towards the end of the 01/02 season after some eye-catching performances for the under 21s and he was even awarded a starting place in the Ponty team for the Principality Cup Final in 2002.

Nuthall is definitely one to watch during the world cup when he will almost certainly get a run in the team either as winger or full back (although he has played outside centre for Pontypridd in the past!).
