Dafydd is another player who has been unlucky in recent times not to get a place in the Wales squad. The centre who left Bridgend a few years ago to join Pontypridd was one of the hottest prospects in Welsh Rugby and as a result gained numerous caps for Wales and caps for the British Lions against Australia in 2001. 

Unfortunately for Dafydd, he has been forced to play much of his rugby on the wing yet he is one of the best centres in Wales. 

“Class is permanent” the saying goes. He will be back and he will be better than ever.
