“Alfie” as he is known by many Bridgend fans will captain the Celtic Warriors in their first season as a regional team. At a time of decline in the national side he was the one man who stood tall.

 A “players player”, not shy of working and scores plenty of tries. Versatile and should get a place in the centre (which is his best position) although he can also play out on the wing.
