"Smiler"  as he is known by many Ponty supporters has provided more than adequate backup for Mefin Davies over the last couple of seasons. 

The youngster is full of promise and has played a part in Wales squad training sessions over the past 12 months. Along with Andrew Joy, the two will battle hard for a starting place at the beginning of the season should Mefin Davies retain a place in the Wales squad for the World Cup.
