In this section of the site, you can browse through the Cardiff Blues playing and coaching squad for season 08/09, viewing profiles by clicking on the player’s name. It’s a historic squad, this being the final first class playing squad at Cardiff Arms Park.

Despite being just 28, 08/09 sees the Glantaf product celebrate his testimonial year at Cardiff and the Blues. The popular centre made his debut at the tender age of 19 against Sale, and has gone on to achieve Magner's League Top Try scorer in 03/04 (14 tries) as well as 23 Wales caps.

He's remained fiercely loyal to the Arms Park side, having received ebigger offers to play elsewhere. But he's been rewarded with similar loyalty during his season long injury in 04/05, when Cardiff stuck by their talented son.

This year, Jamie competes with Jamie Roberts, Alfie, Daf Hewitt and Tom Shanklin for one of the two starting centre births, perhaps his greatest challenge to date. But if he can get one of those places, it'll be just a matter of time before he once again puts on the red jersey, and with his strong defence and creative and visionary running, I see no reason why he can't add to his cap tally.
