27,000 Sold for Toulouse
The porter cabin at the Angel entrance has never been so busy, as the region enters the most important week of its existence. This Saturday Dai Young's men take on Toulouse at the Millennium Stadium in a massive European Cup match that could see the Blues into their first ever HEC Semi Final, while just a week later they are involved in their first ever Cup final, battling Gloucester at Twickenham.
And tickets are selling fast.
The Blues current record attendance stands at 27,114 against Gloucester at the Millennium Stadium in this years pool stages, but that figure is likely to have already been beaten.
The aim now for the ticket office is 35,000, with a large turn out on the day expected. The board will be hoping for clear skies and great whether to help boost the turn out on this bank holiday weekend.
There aren't many seats left, particularly in good areas, so to avoid disappointment, head into the ticket office at Cardiff Arms Park, or call (029) 20302030 to book today.
Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £10 for juniors.
Meanwhile, the news from the coaches is that there are no injury worries ahead of Cardiff's crucial week, with Saturday's team announcement expected tomorrow.
What do you think the official attendance will be at Saturday's game? Post your predictions below.

I guess we'll never know Dim - but I doubt they'd half fill it personally - unless they were playing someone like Man U with all their following

Quote:whenever ive watched the french league on eurosport they always seem to be sold out and they do look pretty big stadiumssmudgerblue
Mind you there are very few club rugby teams that can sell out big stadiums.
30,000 plus would be a good result......
Website now saying 29,000 sold.....
Quote:but people come to watch cardiff city from all over south wales as far as brecon and monmouth and down to about bridgend and up to newport so for us to get this many is great i think cos i dont think many are from far from cardiffDim Cais
On the other hand, what do you think the attendance would be if it were Cardiff City playing in a european cup quarter final? I reckon they would fill the millenium without a shadow of a doubt.

Excellent post Rich. Yesterday showed there is the potential for a Cardiff rugby side to become one of the most supported sides in Europe, the problem is there's not enough attractive fixtures to entice the floating fans to become season ticket holders.
It will be very interesting to see how season ticket sales go for next year, we had been expecting to lose 1,000+, but at this rate we could be looking at a new record season ticket sales - but then again, perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself. Like i say, interesting and exciting times ahead.
