Exclusive Interview - John Tait

By Craig Muncey
March 5 2016

Pleased to announce another upcoming interview where rugby fans choose the questions I put to the rugby star.   1876 Cardiff Rugby have had a series of interviews recently which I hope you have enjoyed, interviews have taken place with players such as Maama Molitika, Andy Moore, Craig Quinnell, Terry Holmes, Pieter Muller and most recently Mark Ring.  And next on the list is Cardiff and Canadian international John Tait.

Cardiff have had many overseas players over the years in their playing ranks, some very successful, Paul Tito, Pieter Muller, Ben Blair and Xavier Rush as examples and some not so successful, Donovan Van Vueren, Grant Esterhuizen, Campese Ma'afu and Andrew Henry, just some examples of this, but there is no doubt John Tait falls into the successful category.

John Tait was an outstanding lock, a superb athlete who could ball carry, offload and was excellent as a line out forward.

The player played 6 seasons for Cardiff and won 37 caps for his country, including appearing in the 1999 World Cup.

One of my closest friends was a huge fan of this player, so he in particular will be happy about John agreeing to this interview!

The format is as per the other interviews, you the fans can choose the questions you wish to put to John, and the best 15 questions will be chosen by myself, and used for the interview.

You can let me know your questions either on the website, on our facebook page, 1876 Cardiff Rugby or twitter page, @1876Cardiff

Can you please let me know your questions by the closing date, which is Friday 11th March.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you are looking forward to this interview as much as I am.
