Wales caretaker coach Nigel Davies has named his squad of 24 to take on World Champions South Africa at the Millennium Stadium a week Saturday. It will probably be the last time we see the champs play together before the side is dispanded to chase the bucks in there latter years.

Surprise to see the likes of Adam Jones and Ian Gough not make the cut but Nigel Davies is at least trying something different to shake up this team of players.
Henson looks sure to start in the backs and after a lashing from Phil Bennett he will want to impress, his last game against SA was one of his best for Wales and he finished a lovely try.
Should be an enjoyable game and the Welsh have it all to play for.

Replacements: T Rhys Thomas (Blues), Duncan Jones (Ospreys), Luke Charteris (Dragons), Alix Popham (Scarlets), Mike Phillips (Ospreys), Ceri Sweeney (Dragons), Tom James (Blues).
Sweeney has replaced Stephen Jones on the bench. Jones picked up an injury against WASPS. I like Stoddard and am glad he gets his chance. An Ospreys 10, 12 and 13 in midfield should be intersting. RST deserves his chance at 7. I don't feel Rhys Thomas is up to international standard but I suppose he has to start somewhere.

Henson is in danger of becoming one of those 'one hit wonders'. He needs to up his game quite significantly. He certainly has the ability, but can he make real gravy again?

Replacements: Bismarck du Plessis, Heinke van der Merwe, Albert van den Berg, Hilton Lobberts, Wynand Olivier, Conrad Jantjes, Akona Ndungane.
No Montgommery, James, Du Preez, Du Randt, Matfield, Russow. No big deal, just some of their best players
Because of that I actually reckon Wales will win this one, if a decent crowd turn up.
