Scrum Half Biography: A product of Pencoed RFC, Coops' has developed into without doubt Wales's first choice scum half. Had it not been for the knee injury that has dogged the first few seasons' of his career, he would have a lot more caps to his name, since Rob Howley's retirement. Live wire is a very appropriate description of the number nine who returned to Wales in 2003, after a spell in the Zurich Premiership with Bath. Coops' defence splitting blistering breaks have become very prominent at international level, however most notably his passing has become a lot more consistent, forming a solid half back partnership with Stephen Jones.
