| Thomas, Jonathan
Flanker Biography: Jonathan Thomas emerged from the depths of obscurity, or to be more precise an administration ravaged Swansea team, to be thrust into the international spotlight on Wales' tour to Australia and New Zealand, assuring himself well if both tests. After a quiet summer Thomas took his chance to impress against Romania, earning himself a spot in Wales' world cup squad. Very much a fringe player, he was thrown in against New Zealand again, this time having a blinder and thus starting against England in the quarter finals the week after. 2004 Six Nations' saw something of a trough for Thomas, failing to reach the highs of the last few months. The next few seasons' present a real challenge if he is not to slip back quicker than he came up. Site Awards: |
