Biography: Mid Walian Jones began his career with Llandovery before being quickly snapped up by Llanelli, making his debut for the Scarlets aged only 20.

In a competitive Stradey back row Jones started making a niche for himself by 2002, doing enough to earn himself a call up for the Autumn internationals where he never looked back.

Unfortunately though a Steve Hansen perceived shortage of number eights in Wales forced Aberystwyth born Jones to become a make shift number eight.
