England Rugby Women Planning on GOLD in Edmonton Canada 2006

The 2006 IRB Women's Rugby World Cup tournament starts in Edmonton on the 31st August.
England, who are the reigning Six Nations Grand Slam winners and are ranked second for the tournament, are off to a training camp in Calgary and will be arriving in Edmonton on Monday 28th August. Their first RWC match is against the US Eagles at Ellerslie Rugby Park on the 31st August, then South Africa on September 4th and France on September 8th ahead of the knock-out stages.
And to get our England women kitted out well, the RFU for Women have teamed up with New Zealand's rugbygirl® to provide the England Women’s rugby team with fashionable rugby-orientated leisure wear. The England Women will be wearing a full-range of leisure wear during their down-time at the tournament, including t-shirts, beanies, zip-up long sleeve tops, socks and under top garments.
Katy Storie, England World Cup and Clifton player and RFUW development officer, added: “The rugbygirl clothing is great and it will give us and the supporters the opportunity to wear fun and feminine clothing that reflects our love of this great game.”
