England Rugby January 2008 Well once again a New Year and New hopes, we Hope! A very busy month, with a wide variety of topics and events covered.

We started the 1st of January with a Twickenham Tale about the Heineken Cup from one of our regular posters Whingebasher ( don't ask me why he uses that nickname, because he does not bash many posters really)

England Rugby - Twickenham Stadium Changes - Be Prepared! As excitement builds ahead of this Saturday's Royal Bank of Scotland Six Nations, everyone coming to watch England take on Wales is reminded of the new changes at Twickenham Stadium. Best to arrive early!

England Head Coach Brian Ashton announced his 32 man squad for this year's RBS Six Nations Championship. Gloucester winger Lesley Vainikolo is rewarded for his impressive form with a place in the squad, although Josh Lewsey and Andy Farrell have been dropped. England Squad for RBS Six Nations 2008

Next up was the list of Match Officials for the 2008 Royal Bank of Scotland Six Nations Match Officials. England have referees C. Joubert, on 2nd Feb, A. Rolland on the 10th Feb & our regular favourite (NOT) yes you guess it Steve Walsh on the 23rd Feb, J. Kaplan on the 8th Mar Six Nations Match Officials

First match up for England will be against Wales at London Irish Amateur RFC, Middlesex on Saturday 2nd February, kick off 2.30 pm

The England Women’s team to face Wales in the opening RBS 6 Nations match against Wales at London Irish RFC, Sunbury, on Saturday February 2nd, kick-off 230pm, has today (Monday) been announced. England Women's International Rugby Cinque Ports Rugby Football Club and Unofficial England Rugby are delighted to promote the International Women's' Belgian National Women’s XV vs. England South Select XV. Our England Sevens team were back in action out in New Zealand - England Sevens next stop Westpac Stadium, Wellington New Zealand 1-2 February 2008.
Patrick previewed the final round of the 2007-08 Heineken Cup. This year's competition hasn't disappointed with plenty of star performances and fantastic form, and going into the final weekend, 16 teams are still able to qualify for the quarter finals.
