The Emirates Airline London Sevens is back with a bang at Twickenham on the weekend of 24th & 25th May.

England’s only leg of the IRB World Sevens series involves 16 top international sides and 44 matches of fast paced, thrilling and entertaining sevens rugby.

If you have never been to an IRB Sevens event then its worth noting a few things. Firstly, this is no ordinary Twickenham match day. For a start instead of just two teams we have 16 top international teams in action. Bored with the Australians then why not cheer on the Fijians? From Scotland to Samoa to Wales to New Zealand – every top team (and some not so well known) is represented making for a fully international and very colourful weekend.

Secondly, there are no rules – at least not in the stands. Fancy dress is often the order of the day and you may well find yourself sat between a smurf or a surfer. People tend to come with their families or friends making for a real party atmosphere. In between matches there is music and dancing and plenty of competitions. There is big screen karaoke, fancy dress competitions and cheerleaders. There is always something going on both on and off the pitch and we challenge you to ever be bored at the sevens.
