Lots going on this month the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and England have a strong 7s side competing in these games.  The Under 18s are in South Africa on tour.  Richard Hill joins the RFU.  Plus much more.

FORMER England flanker Richard Hill MBE has been appointed by the RFU as Player Pathway Liaison Manager. The consultancy position will see Hill, a 2003 World Cup winner, play an important role with England’s international performance coaches to help identify, mentor and develop young players, between the ages of 15-19, both on and off the field.

ENGLAND Under 18s have named their squad for the two-week summer tour to South Africa in August. Coaches John Fletcher and Pete Walton will lead the group of 26 as they face Wales, France and South Africa across the Western Cape.

Commonwealth Games England today announced the Rugby Sevens team that will compete at the XX Commonwealth Games in Glasgow (23 July – 3 August 2014).
