Privileged members are given two tickets in the committee box for all matches at Twickenham and access to the members’ lounge.

Derek Morgan, past President of the RFU said, “Each new privileged member richly deserves the honour. In the case of Martin Johnson, the Council felt that although he had been recognised with other honours, it was a way for the Council to express their enormous appreciation of his outstanding achievement in captaining England to victory in last year’s Rugby World Cup.”

Former ticket office manager Richard Ankerson, who retired this year after 30 years with the RFU, and Council members Peter Budge (Surrey) and Alan Stevens (Devon) are also awarded the honour.
