Dawson to work hard to get his England place back

England Acting Head Coach Andy Robinson has announced today that England and London Wasps scrum half Matt Dawson is stepping down from the Elite Player Squad with immediate effect.
Dawson was unable to attend part of this week's England training due to business commitments.
Robinson said "I respect Matt's decision and wish him well. It's important that the England squad makes full use of its training days together but Matt is unable to attend due to a business commitment. We're both disappointed with the situation but the door is still open for a return at some point, should his priorities change."
Commenting today on the development Dawson said: “Obviously I am disappointed to be out of the Eliete Players Squad but I understand and respect Andy’s decision to do so.”
“I will be working hard to earn my place back. I have a long standing commitment that I simply can’t reverse.”
