2-3 DECEMBER
DUBAI
England Sevens have got off to a wonderful start by winning in Dubai.
This is the first time England have won the Emirates Airline 7s in Dubai
England Coach Mike Friday thanked the huge support his side had received in their two days in Dubai, stating the players had been motivated to victory by the crowd.

"To be honest, England have wanted to win in Dubai for a very long time now, and the people here have wanted us to win for just as long," said Friday.
"We didn't want to put pressure on ourselves but we are thankful we have achieved that and brought through some young talent at the same time that can hopefully play for the England '15s' in a few years."
He cited the close encounter with Scotland earlier in the tournament as the turning point for his team, after England had been on the brink of a surprising defeat.
"To be honest it shocked us and woke us up," said Friday.
"We shocked ourselves and from that moment on we managed to improve with every game."
