This  could be really useful for some of us especially  when stuck in the car on a motorway, on holiday abroad or just away from a TV. And you are desperate to know the result of a big game that we have missed.

  SportWatch - A new service by 4 Text Ltd.

SportWatch is a new type of mobile alert system that brings you just the big game results, as they happen.  

Presently free until 20 March 05 you sign on by texting ‘sport’ to 81066 and are instantly added to our database.  You’ll receive occasional messages by SMS text reporting on all the sports news at the time as soon as the event finishes.  We cover all major sporting events from football to rugby and formula one racing, so you’ll get a broad spread of sports news and results without having to sign up for multiple services. At the time of writing we’re covering the 6 Nations Rugby tournament and the Cricket One Day Tests in South Africa.  You get the game results within a few minutes on your mobile wherever you are.  Signing off is easy, just send a text with ‘stop sport’ to 81066 and you’ll be automatically removed.   

What’s different about us?  Many companies offer a team’s sporting results to your mobile, usually at 25p a text and averaging two texts a day.  If you want to receive results from different teams or on different sports then you have to sign on for each and every one.  

How are SportWatch different. 

They are  FREE until 20 March 05, only send out a message on the major events and we lie dormant in between.  This means that you’re not being bothered by results that you don’t need and there’s no need to sign up to multiple services.
