England v Barbarians - 28th May 2005 - Tibco Challenge
England named their 29 man squad to face the Barbarians at Twickenham on 28th May, the squad is made up of players already selected for the Churchill Cup plus a number of the elite squad who shone in this year's RBS Six Nations Championship. Also included are Jonny Wilkinson, Phil Vickery and Mike Tindall who are all hoping to prove their fitness for inclusion on the Lions Tour to New Zealand.
England assistant coach Joe Lydon is in charge for both the Barbarians game and the Churchill Cup tour and has acknowledged the squad for the Tibco Challenge at Twickenham is very strong. However, his main aim is the Churchill Cup of this Lydon said
"The overall priority is the Churchill Cup tour in June but we also want to put in a great performance for the home crowd at Twickenham against the Baa Baas."
