England Rugby's July 2005 in review a look back at what was happening on the Rugby front! The Lions' Tour ended with a 3-0 thrashing in New Zealand. The ERSC launched their online ticket ballot

July 2005 - In Review!

England Rugby in July, well summer has arrived & not a great deal happening on the England rugby scene to be honest!

The Lions' 2005 Tour is over and the players arrived back home nursing injuries and also some injured pride. We would like to thank Derek who put together a chart of BBC player ratings throughout the Lions tour 2005. The performance of every player has been measured and averages calculated, giving a rough idea who has performed well and who has disappointed. Lions Performances

The posters promised the chance to ‘Meet the World Champions', and with a main hook like that, it's no wonder that so many thousands turned up to Scrum in the Park 2004, in Regent's Park. Described as a festival of rugby in the heart of London , Scrum in the Park is organised by proud England Rugby sponsors O2, and the success of last year's event made sure there would be a repeat, and given entry is free, there's no excuse not to go.
