Baron’s comments have caused concern to some of Rotherham Rugby Club’s supporters. Hence, Earth Titans Board member Allan McHale was anxious to set the record straight.

McHale stated, “We have done everything necessary and returned all the documentation at the various stages of the process. The RFU consultants PMP are visiting our two proposed grounds – Millmoor & Don Valley - this week in order for auditing purposes. We shall of course take on board any advice given by them.”

McHale added, “Obviously we are not mind-readers and therefore cannot comment on what Francis Baron is, or is not aware of at this time. But I can assure everyone, we are one hundred percent committed to taking our place in the Premiership should we win National Division One.”

The Board has been exceptionally swift in responding to the negative speculation and should be applauded. Hopefully the matter is now closed and everyone can get right behind the boys for their next challenge at home to Bedford.
