The game is expected to be a four 20s affair, with the match being played in quarters. I expect that a rather large squad will be used to whittle away the triallists.
It should be an interesting game with almost all of the Bees team being available following injury recovery.
Pertemps Bees' captain Ed Orgee is set to make his first appearance of the season in the friendly against Moseley at Sharmans Cross Road on Saturday August 14 (3pm).
Orgee missed the victory over Stourbridge last weekend because he was recovering from an ankle operation which he underwent in June. But he is expected to be fit to play against Moseley, one of his former clubs, in the second of Pertemps Bees' five pre-season friendlies.
Winger Nick Baxter, centre Shaun Woof and winger Aaron Takarangi will also play in the Birmingham derby having been rested for the Stourbridge game. Fly-half Mark Woodrow faces a late fitness test on the thigh injury which prevented him from playing at Stourbridge.
Orgee's return means that lock Alex Davidson, who is unlikely to play before Christmas bcause of a shoulder problem, is Pertemps Bees' only long-term injury casualty.
