Scott Williams and Lennie Woodard are expected to make their full debut for the Bees as they travel to Wigan to face Orrell. Both impressed last week as replacements for Aaron Takarangi and Mike Davies

Last week a depleted Bees side played some wonderful second half rugby against a poor London Welsh side. Zaltzman’s replacement Rob Hurrell played well scoring his maiden try for the club, and Bees favourite Nathan Carter scored two replacing Gavin Pfister.

Bees are one of two sides who are yet to drop a point and have been enjoying life at the top, averaging 42 points per game and will be looking to continue their good run at lowly Orrell.

Orrell, who have had severe off the field problems, have struggled to retain many of their players from last years team which finished second in National League One. Last week they went down very heavily to a strong Rotherham side with the only positive being. Former Bee Joe Clark may possibly play for Orrell.

Steve McCormacks Preview

Early season form indicates that Pertemps Bees will certainly be one of the teams to beat this season and Orrell are most unlikely to finish above them as they have in past years.

Orrell without a win from three games come into the match on the back of a thrashing at Rotherham, the only plus point being the exemplary kicking of Simon Mason. They are unlikely to get off the mark here.

Pertemps Bees are absolutely buzzing at the moment sitting at the top of the league with maximum points averaging 42 points per match. They have scored sixteen tries to four against and look strong favourites to extend their unbeaten run here.

Orrell completed a league double over the Bees last season and have the better record from previous league meetings. The playing strengths of both sides are much changed though this season and an away win is forecast.

Steve’s Prediction:  Bees to win by 14 points.
