Pertemps Bees -v- Plymouth Albion
23/10/2004 3PM
Sharmans Cross Road, Solihull
|
Bees are getting ready for their second big test of the season and the second part of their "big boys month". Last time out they lost to fellow title contenders Bristol, and on Saturday face Plymouth.
Albion are coached by former England hooker Graham Dawe who is also playing at his old age. They are well renowned for their "interesting" methods of play. At one time this year they managed to use a 13-man maul.
There are some big names in the Albion side in Gelderbloom, Fisilau, Pritchard (Canadian international), Hentie Martens, Schusterman and leading try scorer this year, Dan Ward Smith.
Bees will be hoping to beat off the Albion threat and will obviously have to cope with a very strong forward presence.
