Bees are getting ready for their second big test of the season and the second part of their "big boys month". Last time out they lost to fellow title contenders Bristol, and on Saturday face Plymouth.

Albion are coached by former England hooker Graham Dawe who is also playing at his old age. They are well renowned for their "interesting" methods of play. At one time this year they managed to use a 13-man maul.

There are some big names in the Albion side in Gelderbloom, Fisilau, Pritchard (Canadian international), Hentie Martens, Schusterman and leading try scorer this year, Dan Ward Smith.

Bees will be hoping to beat off the Albion threat and will obviously have to cope with a very strong forward presence.

Steve McCormacks Preview

Match of the day in National One is undoubtedly the clash of top of the table Pertemps Bees against fourth placed Plymouth Albion, only separated in the league by a bonus point.

They might have bumped into each other last Saturday as they visited South Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster and Rotherham in the Powergen Cup and both came away with victories.

Last time in the league, Pertemps Bees were very disappointing in going down to their first defeat of the season at Bristol, but they have won both of their home games this season.

Plymouth reversed the recent league match result when pipping Rotherham by a point in the cup and the week before recorded an easy home win against Coventry.

These two teams have met four times in league rugby and the record stands at two wins each. In the most recent encounter on 10th April this year Plymouth won at Pertemps Bees 23-20 and the result might be similar on Saturday.

Steve's Prediction: Albion to win by 3 points

My prediction: 15-12 to Bees
