Winner Goes To Twickenham - Let's All Cheer Cornwall To Victory

Kyle MarriottCornwall Captain and ex Cornish Pirate, Kyle Marriot has paid tribute to his squad and said:

“The Kent game proved that we have an excellent squad and team ethos, with players wanting to pull on the jersey and win under pressure"

”We’d love to see Redruth be a real fortress on Saturday with the black and gold not only visually, but noisy and in numbers to spur these guys on.”

Cornwall’s coaches and selectors have made just one change to the starting XV from last week's win against Kent, with Cornish All Black winger Jon Dawe coming in on the wing in place of Max Venables (Saltash).

Otherwise continuity is very much the word, as Cornwall look to keep a settled side for this vital clash.

Great game of rugby this afternoon. Excellent and noisy crowd and Cornwall really showed some character and belief in their squad. 18 - 6 down at half-time due to a couple of mistakes which Herts capitalised on, from the re-start, Cornwall really upped the tempo, brought the pack into it much more and then hung for the last 10 minutes.

Ex-Pirate Kyle Marriott had a very good game.

C'mon you Pirates !!!!
