By Coventry Telegraph
January 4 2008
FORMER Barkers Butts hooker Mark Richardson has been appointed the RFU's new rugby development officer for Warwickshire. The 40-year-old steps up from the position of community rugby coach for Warwickshire to replace Richard Siveter, the Rugby Lions prop, who has moved into a new career.

Richardson, the first-team coach of Barkers Butts, is a former pupil of The Woodlands School in Coventry and after running his own double glazing company, he moved into coaching with the mini and junior section at Barkers before spending a year as community rugby coach.

He will be based at Henley College and will be responsible for promoting rugby in the County and helping to improve standards of playing, clubs and coaching.
