Anthony Davidson: "Shut right up!"
By Gunman April 29 2008
Red Bull's David Coulthard, who is becoming the most aggressive driver on track this year, has recently referred to Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson has "stupid Aguris", because they often get in the way when they're getting lapped. When he talked to reporters in Barcelona, Davidson decided to vent out his frustration.

Davidson started by telling his rivals, quote: "They can shut right up!"

He explained why he and his teammate seem to act like that in the races:

"When you can hardly see what the hell is going on because the car is shaking around so much, and you’re just fully focused on keeping the damn thing on the track, the last thing you can do is be bothered about others trying to lap you."

He also issued a challenge to people like Coulthard and showed he doesn't have the patience for those insults:

“I’d love to swap cars with these drivers. I really believe some of them would struggle, or even crack, if they were in our position.”

Unfortunately... Well, it's probably true, he referred to this year's car, which is an alliance of Honda's 2007 and 2008 cars, as a "botched job". He admitted that “the team won’t like me for saying that".
