Bradford & Bingley 16 Nuneaton 19
By Coventry Telegraph
December 1 2008
Huw Thomas’s last-gasp kick sealed victory for Nuneaton and kept up the pressure at the top of National Three North. Full-back Rob Cook went over for a try four minutes from time. Thomas, who had taken over kicking duties from the injured Rickie Aley, made no mistake with the conversion. Earlier, Aley had levelled with a penalty after Dixon had put Bradford ahead on ten minutes.
Then he added two drop goals to put Nuneaton 9-3 up at the break.

Six minutes into the second half, he ignored a chance for a try to further increase Nuns’ lead with another drop goal. But Dixon reduced the deficit after Nuns dived in at a ruck and Liam Frost gave Bradford the lead when he crashed over for a try on 61 minutes which Dixon converted.

Aley missed a kickable penalty on 73 minutes, but the last-gasp try saw them take the points.

Bradford & Bingley: Try Frost; conversion Dixon; penalties Dixon (3).

Nuneaton: Try Cook; conversion Thomas; drop goals Aley (3); penalty Aley.
