A visiting penalty was a minor setback as Secher launched a solo sprint from deep in his own half, franking the try to stretch the lead to 14-3.
After near-misses by Tom Williams and Simon Harry, centre Gordon Jackson’s initial breach was developed by Secher to set up full-back Adam Preece for a third converted try and a 21-3 interval advantage.
Patch Northover engineered the opening that enabled Secher to add another seven points to his personal tally and although Droitwich made a spirited comeback, cutting the arrears with a converted try, Leamington underlined their dominance when Alex Caroll just missed out on an interception try.
* Newbold on Avon 24 Kidderminster 0
NEWBOLD saw off bottom-markers Kidderminster at Parkfield Road.
Pinned back by the visitors’ impressive surge, they responded when Joss Andrews intercepted and dashed the length of the field for a thrilling try.
Rich Allen cashed in on a lucky bounce to double the lead and another stirring counter-attack saw Sam Viggers halted just short but feeding Danny Facer who crossed between the posts. Andrews converted.
Both sides were bogged down in midfield in the second half before Andrews’s clearance led to a line-out five yards short and Jason Hare won the ball for reinstated scrum-half Simon Ferriss to set up Allen’s second try, Andrews again converting. Kidderminster poured forward in the closing minutes but Newbold stood firm.
