“I did my celebrating when we won the title at Leicester Lions and that was a sweet day,” he said.
“It was fitting we won the title away at Lions because we lost to them on the opening day of the season and it was pay-back, plus there were some former Nuns players in their team.
“I had a moment to reflect but that moment has gone now and I am already thinking about the new challenge.”
Umaga is no party-pooper and hopes the ground is packed on Saturday and everyone savours the moment after what has been a gruelling season.
“The champagne is on ice and I hope everyone enjoys the day and see us crowned as the new champions,” he said.
“It is time for the players to celebrate the achievement because they have worked incredibly hard all season.”
The reverse fixture at Fylde ended in a gutsy 27-27 draw in September and Umaga picked that game as the turning point of the season for his side.
“Fylde were considered one of the sides that would be front runners in the league but our boys put in a great performance,” he said.
“They got the draw and it proved that they had no one to fear in this league.
“We pushed on from that point and it is fitting that we can look back on a memorable season after playing them in the final fixture.”
