Coventry Bears on rampage

COVENTRY Bears claimed the highest score in their history when they piled up 23 tries to swamp their hosts Redditch Ravens 122-0.

It took just two minutes for winger Tom O'Toole to open the floodgates as the Bears scored at will against their opponents.

 

Coventry winger Tanaka Chaunokara scored the best try of the afternoon with an 80 metre run through the Ravens defence.

He went on to complete a hat-trick, a feat matched by scrum-half Nathan Tilsley who weighed in with 15 conversions to boost his personal haul to 42 points.
