Sheffield Tigers moves to Midlands

KENILWORTH and Hinckley will compete in a 14-team National Three Midlands Division as part of next season’s league restructuring. It will be one of four regional leagues feeding in a pyramid topped by the 12-club Championship and National Two and Three, and will feature a bonus points system. The local clubs’ new opponents will include Sheffield Tigers who have been reassigned to the
Midlands with Chester switching back to National Three North.

Leagues at level six – the renamed Midlands One West and Midlands One East – have also been increased to 14 clubs, but levels seven and eight (Midlands Two and Three) remain at 12.

There will be smaller leagues at levels nine and 10, with Midlands Four and Five East (South) operating on a conference system involving 14 clubs.

National Three Midlands: Ampthill, Bedford Athletic, Bromsgrove, Hereford, Hinckley, Kenilworth, Kettering, Longton, Luctonians, Malvern, Newport, Peterborough, Sheffield Tigers, South Leicester.

Midlands One West: Bournville, Burton, Camp Hill, Cheltenham North, Dudley Kingswinford, Leamington, Nuneaton OE, Old Halesonians, Solihull, Stoke on Trent, Stratford, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Whitchurch.

Midlands One East: Derby, Dunstablians, Ilkeston, Leighton Buzzard, Mansfield, Market Bosworth, Matlock, Newark, Old Northamptonians, Paviors, Scunthorpe, Stewarts & Lloyds, Syston, Wellingborough.

Midlands Two West (North): Ashbourne, Aston OE, Bridgnorth, Dixonians, Lichfield, Ludlow, Old Saltleians, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Stourbridge Lions, Willenhall, Wolverhampton.

Midlands Two West (South): Barkers’ Butts, Bedworth, Berkswell & Balsall, Droitwich, Earlsdon, Kidderminster Carolians, Newbold-on-Avon, Old Coventrians, Old Laurentians, Silhillians, Spartans, Worcester Wanderers.

Midlands Two East (North): Bakewell Mannerians, Belgrave, Coalville, Grimsby, Lincoln, Loughborough, Market Rasen & Louth, Melton Mowbray, Nottingham Moderns, Sleaford, Spalding, West Bridgford.

Midlands Two East (South): Aylestone St James, Banbury, Huntingdon, Leicester Forest, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Northampton BBOB, Northampton Old Scouts, Old Newtonians, Peterborough Lions, Towcestrians, Vipers.

Midlands Three West (North): Bishops Castle & OV, Bloxwich, Burntwood, Handsworth, Leek, Moseley Oak, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Old Yardleians, Tamworth, Telford Hornets, Veseyans, Wednesbury.

Midlands Three West (South): Dunlop, Edwardians, Harbury, Kings Norton, Ledbury, Old Leamingtonians, Pershore, Redditch, Shipston-on-Stour, Southam, Upton on Severn, Woodrush.

Midlands Three East (North): Amber Valley, Ashby, Ashfield, Barton & District, Boston, Kesteven, Melbourne, Mellish, Nottingham Casuals, Oakham, Southwell, Worksop.

Midlands Three East (South): Bedford Swifts, Brackley, Bugbrooke, Daventry, Deepings, Long Buckby, Northampton Casuals, Northampton Mens Own, Queens, Rugby St Andrews, Stockwood Park, Vauxhall Motors.

Midlands Four West (North): Barton under Needwood, Cannock, Cleobury Mortimer, Eccleshall, Essington, Harborne, Old Griffinians, Rugeley, St Leonards, Yardley & District.

Midlands Four West (South): Alcester, Birmingham Exiles, Coventry Welsh, Dudley Wasps, Evesham, Keresley, Manor Park, Pinley, Rugby Welsh, Stoke OB.

Midlands Four East (North): Belper, Castle Donnington, Chesterfield Panthers, Cleethorpes, Dronfield, East Leake, East Retford, Leesbrook, Nottinghamians, Rolls Royce, Skegness, Uttoxeter.

Midlands Four & Five East (South): Aylestone Athletic, Biggleswade, Kempston, Oadby Wyggestonians, Oundle, Rushden & Higham, St Ives, St Neots, Stamford, Stamford College OB, Stoneygate, Thorney, Wellingborough OG, Westwood.

Midlands Five West (North): Aldridge, Five Ways OE, Hanford, Market Drayton, Stone, Warley, Wheaton Aston, Whittington.

Midlands Five West (South West): Birmingham CS, Bredon Star, Bromyard, Chaddesley Corbett, Claverdon, Clee Hill, Highley, Stourport on Severn, Tenbury Wells.

Midlands Five West (South East): Atherstone, Copsewood, Coventrians, Coventry Saracens, Coventry Technical, Old Wheatleyans, Trinity Guild, Warwickian, Wellesbourne.
