Mike Walls signs new deal for Coventry
By John Wilkinson
June 10 2009
SCRUM-HALF Mike Walls has signed a new contract to stay at Coventry for a fifth season. The 29-year-old Irishman has made 88 first-team appearances for Cov, scoring eight tries, since joining from Connacht in 2005, and was a leading performer in the late surge to preserve the team’s National Division One status after an injury-hit start to last season. “I’m very happy to be staying,”
said Walls “Playing sides such as Munster in the British & Irish Cup will be great fun. It’s an added bonus to the achievement of qualifying for the new Championship and I relish the opportunity to play against such good opposition.”

Coventry Season tickets for next season are now on sale, covering a minimum of 13 Championship fixtures – 11 in the regular season and three play-off games – at Butts Park Arena and the British & Irish Cup games against Munster and Heriots FP.

A full adult ticket costs £195 with under-16s set at £65, senior citizens and students £130, family ticket (two adults and two under-16s) £455, and a price of £90 for Coventry University students. Purchases before July 10 also qualify for free entry to the club’s home pre-season friendlies.
