COVENTRY STRENGTHEN SQUAD SIGNING FOUR.

Coventry Rugby are pleased to announce the signing of 4 further players , all of which make the squad against Tynedale. Alex Nash- back row from Rugby Lions Tom Harris- winger from Rugby Lions Brett Daynes- back row from Bedford Blues Tom Warren- loosehead prop- dual registered from Northampton Saints Academy.

 

Alex Nash , aged 27 is a livewire back row, able to play in all three positions. Born in Solihull he attended King Henry V111 School. here locally in Coventry. Alex started his rugby career at OC's then switched to Rugby Lions, where he has been for 7 seasons. Sees Coventry as his opportunity to step up a level , and feels he can play well at this level. Has enjoyed working with a new bunch of
players.

Tom Harris aged 23 is a winger also comes from Rugby Lions. He has been been at Rugby for 3 seasons and last season he was the teams leading try scorer scoring 22 in 27 starts. Born in Northampton he attended Campion School in the county. He already knows players at Coventry and feels he can be part of this step up  a level. He very much looks forward to the new season and challenges he faces.

Brett Daynes, aged 23 is a No 7 back row forward. Born in Jo-burg, SA, Brett started his rugby career at Northampton Old Scouts, and has played for Bedford Blues for the past 2 seasons.. Last season he played 10 times for Bedford including a game against Coventry. Relishes the new new challenges here at Coventry and looks forward to fresh ideas.

Tom Warren, aged 20 is a loosehead prop, and joins from Northampton Saints Academy, on a dual registration basis. Born in Derby, Tom  welcomes the chance to progress and get into the first team.
