Coventry sign a brace of centres:

Coventry Rugby are pleased to announce the signing of two players centres James Otutaha and James Whybrow.

James Otutaha aged 28 comes in from the Marist Club in New Zealand, from which he has represented North Harbour. A strong running and tackling centre James has recently moved to this country, and has recently had trials with Leigh RL as well as Coventry Rugby. James previously had a 6 year spell in the West Country at Brixham. He wishes to repay the faith the Coventry club has shown in him, and judging from his cameo performance in the recent Nighthawks game against Moseley he should soon be a fans favourite.

James Whybrow aged 20, has signed for Coventry on dual registration from Worcester Academy, where he went through the various age groups. An outside centre James also impressed in the recent Nighthawks game. Born in Birmingham James is at present completing a law degree locally at the University of Warwick. He looks forward to league game time to enhance his rugby aspirations, and is enjoying the experience of being at Coventry Rugby.
