HULL F.C v WARRINGTON WOLVES

Sunday 12th August 2007, 15:15
The Kingston Communication Stadium, Hull

Warrington Wolves head to the KC Stadium on Sunday to take on fellow top 4 rivals Hull FC looking to make it 5 victories on the spin. Victory for the Wolves will put Paul Cullens men 2 points clear of the Black and Whites and will complete the league double over the side for the first time since 2005.

Last season's beaten Grand Finalists Hull FC have somewhat struggled to live up to the expectations set out for them this season after what was a fantastic 2006 season for the club both on and off the field. However, like the Wolves injuries have not made it possible to field full strength squads for most of 2007, and with the loss of Paul Cooke to rivals Hull KR during the season, this has left a huge gap in the FC team.

Warrington Wolves are expected to take around 2,000 supporters across the pennines to Humberside to cheer the Wolves hopefuly to another important victory in the Wolves attempt to clinch 4th spot in the Super League table and guarantee a home tie in the play-offs in September.

Recent mettings between the sides have been close and tense encounters with very little to seperate between the two teams and hopefuly on Sunday it will once again go right "down to the wire"
