Warrington Wolves welcome Huddersfield Giants to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday for the final home league fixture of the current season. Victory for the Wolves will move them draw them level with 4th placed Hull FC and continue there impressive form of late which has seen Warrington win 6 out of the last 8 league fixtures and turn a relegation battle into a real push towards Old Trafford.

Warrington Wolves are set to welcome back New Zealand International Vinnie Anderson from injury intime for the visit of the Giants but are still without Stuart Reardon, Paul Johnson, Michael Sullivan and Simon Grix who all still remain on the sidelines.

Warrington Wolves have played Huddersfield Giants twice so far in 2007 with both teams enjoying a victory away from home with the Giants edgeing past the Wolves by 26-18 back in April, but the Wolves gained revenge for that defeat with a crushing 47-28 away victory at the Galpharm Stadium 7 weeks ago.

Huddersfield Giants are one of the most improved Super League sides over the past few years after turning  around from a team that often battled with relegation to a quality side that battles to get into the playoffs and even reached the final of the Challenge Cup in 2006.

Warrington Wolves home record in 2007 has a real problem with only 7 victories from 13 fixtures. However the worst home record at the Halliwell Jones Stadium for the Wolves came in 2004 when only 5 victories were recorded in the clubs first ever season at the new stadium. The Wolves went on to finish 8th that season and miss out on the playoffs.

The Halliwell Jones Stadium is once again expected to play host to another 10,000+ Warrington Wolves Super League crowd for the visit of the Huddersfield Giants on Friday. Tickets are still available for all four stands within the stadium however fans are advised to prepurchase their tickets inorder to avoid the lengthy queues that will form on the cash only turnstiles within the stadium.
