Player of the Season 2007/8
By Frank Stormont April 3 2008
Your chance to vote for your Player of the Season. Make sure your vote counts and don't miss out on the chance of getting a replica of the award hopefully autographed by the player concerned.

Where we start something others follow.

This site has lead changes in the local press as things that first appeared on this site now appear in The Herald and on the This is Plymouth website.

The latest of these is the supporters Player of the Season this site has for the past two seasons run a player of the season voted by the users of this website and this season is no different.

At the Moseley match many of you took the opportunity to vote for your player of the season by posting your vote in a red bucket. If you missed this chance please see me or Tim at the Pirates match on Sunday. We will both have a number of voting slips so your vote will not be missed. Alternatively email me with your vote to alllbion@tiscali.co.uk but please do not vote more than once as this is against the spirit of the game.

If you have voted in the Herald player of the season it will not be counted in this prize.  Also you will miss the chance of winning a replica of the trophy presented to our player of the season which will be presented to to both the player and lucky voter at the supporters luncheon on Sunday 27th April.

If you have not yet told me you would like to be part of the website contingent then please let me know as I have 6 spare places at the alllbion tables at the cost of £15 each for a 3 course roast with most of the players present.

Although someone did say (very much tounge in cheek) that he hasn't managed many yards this season carrying the beer, sorry ianbol couldn't resist and I'll buy your second pint on Sunday after Sancreed Pirate has bought the first.

Dont forget the straws.

Semper Sersum.

I know that the presentation of the award is to take place at the lunch on Sunday 27th but not all of us can get to that. So, any possibility of the winner being announced at the end of the game on Saturday, after the man-of-match is announced, and him receiving the award at the luncheon?

Sorry MTH, I want to keep the suspense going but I will have a photo of the winner up as soon as I get home from the luncheon.

You can always make do with the Herald's presentation.

Looking forwards not backwards!
