After 17 races, 6 different pole position winners, 7 different race winners and 14 different podium getters, the 2008 Formula One season is about to come to a close, for yet another year. With 7 points separating the top 2 in the championship hunt between Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa, will ensure, that as ever the final Grand Prix of the season will be exciting.

Meanwhile, Scuderia Toro Rosso currently sits in 6th place in the World Constructor Championships with 34 points. 5 points clear of their sister team Red Bull in 7th place and 18 points behind Toyota who are in 5th place.

 

One of the few anti-clockwise tracks on the calendar, the Brazilian Grand Prix is held at Interlagos, and is 71 laps long, over a lap of 4.3km in length.

 

The 2007 race saw Kimi Raikkonen win and take the title from Felipe Massa in second place and Fernando Alonso, whilst Scuderia Toro Rosso of Sebastian Vettel failed to finish the race on lap 34 due to hydraulics and Vitantonio Liuzzi finished the race 2 laps behind in 13th place. Scuderia Toro Rosso will hope to be looking for better results after a record year for them in 2008.
