A tribute to Roger Harris R.I.P.

I wanted to include a photograph of the floral tribute to our recently departed president Roger Harris, which was on display in the Bidvest marquee on Saturday and after the wake held at the club following the church service, in order to engage with the many Albion supporters who either knew Roger personally or knew of him and his considerable contribution to the Albion cause over the years. This was decided against in the light of the club not having been given permission to allow the bouquet to be shown to the public at large by the family. A great shame, I completely understand the clubs position in this and as they say, in the light of current attitudes by the law makers to protect all and sundry from being awarded their "rights" from everyone else it seems that's how it is, and one obviously needs to follow the current protocol in such matters. Not as easy as it used to be, and in my mind not as it should be, but there it is. I'm sure permission would have been given from Rogers family but I was not going to intrude on them for such a request at this time.

So I have put in a link to the Herald tribute to Roger printed last week for those of us who have not had the chance to read it, and in order to pay respect to someone who has done probably more than most for Albion and achieve what I started out to achieve.

Pretty much all other clubs have such matters on their web sites either on the official or the unofficial sites or both, in recognition of stirling support to the club so I'm sure this will be accepted in the manner it is intended.

Give the photo's time to load up if neccesary.

Very likeable man, a great did a helluva for Plymouth in many ways.
Was greatly loved by all at Albion and will be greatly missed. He was always seen with a smile on his face and would pass time with every one.
