Tom Hayes steps upto the tee to score 9 points with his boot. While Nic Sestaret, Ed Barnes and Luke Arscott score tries.

A Game of two halves with Albion convincingly winning the first half 24 points to 8 and Doncaster coming back against what seemed like a different side to take the lead 24 - 25 by the 78 minute.  Tom Hayes safe boot in the first half seemed also to have been left in the changing room as he failed two attempts from kickable positions. It was only when Nick Defty came on in the 80th minute to be asked, 3 minutes later, to take a pressure kick from 35 metres out and bring the score to 27 – 25.

Nic Sestaret within 130 seconds of the start touches down right under the posts to make the conversion easy for Tom Hayes before kicking a penalty 10 minutes later.  Meanwhile Doncaster scored an unconverted try in the corner. After the Doncaster’s prop was sin binned the resulting penalty kicked for touch and the lineout and useful play allowed Ed Barnes to score his first try of the season which Tom again converted.  On the stroke of half time Luke scored his 8th try of the season for Tom again to convert.

The second half was very disappointing for Albion fans as Doncaster pulled point after point back to lead by one point as we approached full time.  It was great relief when the final whistle went as Doncaster failed to convert a penalty into points with a final score of 27 – 25.

Man of the Match was awarded to Keni Fisilau in a game where no one player seemed to shine.  Tom Hayes had a good first half taking the kicking duties for Nat Saumi who was injured.
