Munster name strong squad for top v bottom clash

Former Auckland Blue Nick Williams joins reigning European champions Munster's senior squad for the first time for their trip to bottom of the table Connacht in the Magner's League clash on Sunday. Munster in naming the Kiwi are in the enviable position of adding yet further strength to their international laden squad, which Connacht must look at and despair given their own circumstances,

 

Coach Tony McGahan expects a tough ride at The Sportsground: "Connacht are always formidable opponents particularly at home and recent games have been extremely close. Last season it could have gone either way, I think it was a try apiece. They have a solid defence.

"They have already turned Leinster over and they come into this game on the back of a good Challenge Cup run. So they'll be full of confidence and with the crowd behind them we face a massive task," said McGahan.

Here's their team.A mixture of experience and fringe players.No o'callaghan,o connell,oleary or ogara though in the 22!

Troy Nathan on the wing for us while Danny isn't in the 23 the mind boggles at Bradley sometimes.Looking forward to seeing Ta'auso.Time he started earning his big money.Joc a big loss.Fionn Carr a catastrophic loss.Hopefully he will be fit to make the bench at least.
