Toops - out for 5 months

Leeds have announced that Clinton Toopi will be out for a further 5 months after the centre underwent surgery. Toopi dislocated his shoulder during the match at Elland Road which resulted in the Rhinos becoming the World Club Champions, after beating NRL premiers, Melbourne Storm.
It was originally thought that he would be out for weeks, and then 4 months, but it was revealed yesterday that he will now be out for 5 months due to the extent of the injury.
The clubs head physiotherapist, Meirion Jones has said that the surgery was a complete success and he also backed up the club by saying that they have done everything possible to make sure that Clinton makes a full recovery.
The New Zealand international and Chev Walker replacement is expected to be back for August, meaning he will be back playing for Leeds before the end of the season.
There is no more news on Danny McGuire's injury that he too picked up in the Carnegie World Club Challenge.
