Mr. Moaner?

The Leeds camp must be buzzing this week - 4 points clear of tonights opposition, St Helens, in what is going to be a spine tingling clash this evening at Knowsley Road in Merseyside. The World Club Champions head coach Brian McLennan still insists that his side which demolished both Bradford and Hull FC can still improve to rise above Saints, and set new standards in rugby league.

Lee Smith and Carl Ablett fail to make the 19 squad, which was announced on Wednesday after picking up knocks in the superb display of rugby, which thousands of Rhinos fans witnessed at the KC Stadium on Monday. There is good news for Kylie Leuluai though as he returns after he suffered concussion in the big derby against Bradford on Thursday when he attempted to tackle former Rhino, Chris Feather.

Saints have injuries to, but theirs are long term. Nick Fozzard will be out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury whilst Keiron Cunningham is out for 2 more months with a muscle tear. But Saints received a boost earlier this week when Jon Wilkin was cleared to play and found himself only with a fine of £300 from the RFL. Bryn Hargreaves is also returning to Anderson's side along with Jason Cayless if he is cleared to play after his surgery in the close season.

leedsrhinos.biz Prediction: Saints 14 Leeds 30

The Leeds defence is on top form, and with the confidence that Leeds have accumulated from the Grand Final last year and throughout this season. Sadly for the Saints fans, you can only see one outcome to this game, the same as the last 3 clashes. Saints were 14 points to 0 ahead against the Giants on Monday, before going on to loose the game. This surely has given Daniel Anderson and the Saints extra motivation to beat the Champions which snatched the Super League title from the scousers.

In St Helens at the moment it is supposed to be chucking it down with rain, and it is expected to throughout the game, so take a brolly!

St Helens: Wellens, Gardner, Gidley, Talau, Meli, Pryce, Long, Cayless, Gilmour, Wilkin, Roby, Bennett, Flannery, Graham, Hargreaves, Clough, Fa'asavalu, Eastmond, Frodsham.

Leeds Rhinos: Webb, Donald, Senior, McGuire, Burrow, Leuluai, Diskin, Peacock, Jones-Buchanan, Ellis, Sinfield, Lauitiiti, Bailey, Scruton, Tansey, Hall, Burgess, Worrall, Jones-Bishop.
