Final Score
Catalan Dragons 24 Leeds Rhinos 37
Saturday 19th July 2008, Stade Gilbert Brutus, Perpignan.
The Leeds Rhinos won for the second week running, as they managed to fight back from a half time score of 18-10, in front of the sold out Stade Gilbert Brutus, to beat the only French side in the competition, who are still placed third in the engage Super League. There was doubts that if the Rhinos hadn’t of won this clash, they may have not got second in the league table.
Scott Donald once again came up with the goods with his clinical try within the last six minutes, from his own eighteen metre line.
A full match report will be available on Sunday, in the afternoon, along with all the match action and reaction. Don’t forget it’s Carnegie Challenge Cup action next week, with Leeds taking on Saints at the Galpharm Stadium in the semi final of the prestigious competition.
