PLAY OFF SEMI FINAL 2
Leeds v Wigan, Friday 26th September, 2008
The Rhinos have one last chance to reach the engage Super League Grand Final on the 13th October, even though they crashed to defeat at Knowsley Road last Friday.
Leeds were in reach of the Saints in the first half, but three tries in the space of ten minutes more or less secured victory for the home side, sending them straight to the Grand Final on their first attempt. But the Rhinos can still reach Old Trafford: as they finished second in the league table, they have another chance of making it to the final.
Leeds now have to play the Wigan Warriors at the Headingley Carnegie this Friday. The question now is can the Rhinos can pull off another victory over Wigan? The last time the two sides met was at the JJB a few weeks ago: Leeds thrashed them 52-16. Can they repeat what they did last year, in the same match, and the same point in the season? We'll bring you the nineteen man squads the day they are released, here on leedsrhinos.biz.
Ticket information for this games has now been released, with prices starting at £14.40 for adults and £9.60 for junior season ticket holders, members, Rhinos 2000 members, and Leedsline Agents who buy their tickets before 5pm on Thursday. After that time and on match day, prices start at £18 for adults and £12 for juniors. Seat season ticket holders have until 7pm on Tuesday evening to reserve their ticket. The Leeds Rugby ticket office will be open until 7pm on Monday and Tuesday to give fans extra chance to reserve their ticket for what will be the biggest game of the season.
