Match Preview

Chiefs v Cov

Exeter Chiefs look to continue their winning ways against a much improved Coventry side at Sandy Park this saturday.  The Chiefs will be looking to take five points from each of their games to keep the pressure on league leaders, Leeds Carnegie prior to their game on December 20th.

Last seasons fixture saw the Chiefs take a 45 - 0 lead into the second half in which they didn't trouble the scorers!  I'm sure there'll be some satisfied fans if they end this game with 45 points on the board.  It's unlikely that Coventry will score anywhere near this even though they ran in 7 tries last weekend.

A look at the table shows the relative distance between the two sides but this will count for little come 3 O'clock on Saturday.  Coventry will be looking to add as many points as they can to avoid being in the 'drop zone' before next season's changes.

Whatever the outcome it will be good to welcome Coventry fans to Sandy Park.

Good luck to the boys tomorrow, Give us a good win.
Will be losing my voice at HQ instead, where the chances of a win are so much smaller.
